Reigning BDFA Super Divison champions FC Bengaluru United and MEG played out a goalless draw in their second game in the ongoing BDFA Super Division Championship at the Bengaluru Football Stadium.
It was an attritional first half with both teams struggling to get off the blocks. FCBU worked hard to create chances but failed to capitalise on them in the final third. FCBU had their first big chance in the sixth minute when a Rakesh Pradhan shot from outside the box just cleared the bar. Soon after, a shot from Irfan took a deflection and was easily parried away by the goalkeeper.
Both teams looked to up the ante in the second half but once again it was a series of missed chances, the scoreline reading 0-0.
