Our state lads will take on the Sports Authority of India boys on November 20th in the final round of the Sub-junior National Football Championship. The matches will be played at JCT Sports Complex, Phagwara, Punjab from November 17 to 30.Karnataka is placed in Group B along with SAI, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Meghalaya. Group A consists of teams like Punjab, Goa, Assam, Kerala, Odisha. The top two teams from each group will make it to the knock out stage.
Karnataka qualified to the final stage from South Zone which was played in last September. Team is coached by Shyam Shahi who assisted P Muralidharan during the qualifiers.
