Hindu Socials and Excelsiors registered victory against Goans and Bangalore Wanderers respectively in the 5th day of the Dowlath Khan Trophy. Both the teams move to the 3rd round of this knock-out tournament.
Debangshu struck a brace, a goal in each half, and helped Hindu Socials to edge past Goans. In the next game, Excelsiors too scored a goal in each half against Bangalore Wanderers. The teams were locked at 1-1 during the lemon break.
