Easy win for Haryana and Jharkhand at the U-21 National

Hosts Haryana started their quarter final league round on a winning note by drubbing Delhi 4-1 to amass full points from their opening match. However, defending champion Punjab went down by a goal to 5-times champion Goa in the opening Group A quarter final league match played at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Gurgaon.

In the opening Group B quarter final league match played at the Nahar Singh Stadium, Andhra Pradesh held Kerala to a goalless draw. Jharkhand’s superb run continued as they trounced Meghalaya 8-1 in the other Group B match.
